if you can afford it, you can't go wrong with a crybaby or a morely. I can't, so I use a Rogue Volume/ Wah and I really can't complain. I would just avoid auto-wahs. all the reviews about it on the site complain about buzzing and static, but mine only does that when its right by the amp. maybe my double grounded sheilded cable helps... oh well, works for me.

I just got the V wah and I'm happy with it, very customizable.

I use the Jim Dunlop Crybaby. It has a great sound, and it is quite cheap. If you want something a little more customizable, try looking at the Crybaby 35Q Wah pedal, or the Boss V-Wah, like 409 said.

i use two different ones for my gigs...1st a dunlop crybaby wah for cleaner tones, and a steve vai signature bad horsie 2 for heavier tones. both work wonders for any type of music i play.

I've got a crybaby with the model C under the circuit board inside... it's an old beast and the pot inside needs cleaning.... Lot of work to do too.

a classic crybaby is ur best bet. but i'd also look into the Morley Steve Vai Bad Horsie Wah. its awesome for heavy tones.
