Each animal in your town has a different personallity, but there are only six different types of personallities in the game. There is a way to make your town be filled with "perfect" characters (people you want in your town) and it's really, really easy. Oh, and their's three male personallities, and two female personallities and one alternative.

Girl personallities

Snooty- self absorbed; the female version of "cranky". They can get really angry really easily if you say the wrong things. They're also the types to say things about theirselves and no one else, unless it's gossip.

Peppy- full of energy (even if they hide inside over half the day.) Most of them are the first to give you nicknames, but you can change it to what you want if you say you don't want it.

Guy personallities

Cranky- they complain. A lot. And they're the one's who have deeper voices and get angry easily. But most of them give presents out like candy; it's not very rare, either.

Jock- they talk about themselves a lot and ask questions about how long they worked out the day before. And they're almost always outside their houses. They also say things about "moving their weights" when they mention the HRA.

Lazy- it speaks for itself. They like to mention things about eating, even though they're bound to put you on a contest to catch a fish first. Most of them don't put much in their house until you hand the furniture over yourself. I suppose it's so they don't get tangled over whether to walk across the room to their bed, or to sleep on their couch which they're closer too... rolleyes

Alternative

Normal- this is for either gender of animal. They normally have a personallity of their own, or follow someone else's personallity.



To get a town of people you really want, you'll have to plan accordingly to who walks out of your town. The idea is this: people who move out have the person with the same personallity moving in. For example:
Walker packs up and moves out of town. The result is, Moe moving in.

^Both animals are "lazy", letting the other move in. This is how you'll find the person you want to move in. I'll make a guide of people (look for the guide of animal personallities soon!) to help coordinate who moves in and out. It will take a while for the right person you want to move in (and the occasional times the same animal from five times ago moves back in) but they will move in. Be patient. Whack people with nets and stick them in Pitfalls if you have to.
