i really like both of them, because in the movie it just sounds very crystal clear and pretty, but in the OBC, it sounds very joyful and like a big community, which i think is the point of the song. what do you think?

I like both for the same reasons as you. I like the movie soundtrack because everything is clearer and you can hear the instruments better and stuff, but I think the OBCR captures the whole mood/theme/something of the show bettter.

I like the movie version better, it's just clearer. And Anthony looks adorable when he bends forward a little and snaps his fingers when he sings "how about.....love". Btw is the song only sung by our group of 8 or other cast members as well in the OBC version? Bear in mind that I've never seen the play...

i like the OBC better, for the same reason you guys like the movie version.
allow me to explain
in the movie version, yes, you can hear everything clearer, and pick out individual voices, but that's one of the reasons i dont like it as much.
I think the song is about spreading love, it's not really an individual song. I like that all the voices but the two soloists mesh together.
thats just me.
