[x] Yes, this story is based off of the classic 'Alice In Wonderland' but no, it's not the same. Actually it's not really like it at all now that I think about it...
[x] Yes, I will be having similar characters to those found in the original movie but no, they will not be the same.

[Plot/Storyline]
When nothing in your life is going right, when your afraid of dying, how can you escape? How can someone with no meaning or purpose find a loophole in the twisted game known as life?
One may think it impossible to ever leave reality and all that goes with it, but in fact, it's not. No, nothing is ever impossible. and that my friends, is how it all began....
Drugs. Drugs are used for medical purposes, prescribed for patients who are in dire need of an escape. Be it from pain, mental problems or something else unkown to mankind.
Well, for one demented, psycotic scientist, this information was all he needed to create the perfect escape. An escape to a world where nothing seems real and yet everything is. A world where your free to do what you want when you want and yet, still be tied down by simple laws. A world created by mazes, forests, lakes, and everything else except in a distorted view where your imagination could run free.
A world, known as Wonderland.
In a time where people lived, worked, and breathed freely, one man decided life wasn't good enough. He decided life wasn't worthy of him nor anyone in it, mainly the kids that were growing up on the godforsaken planet. So, he decided to make his own world. A world where he ruled and yet no one would know; no one would suspect a thing. Now you may ask, how would this all be possible? Some type of virtual reality? No my friends, for you see there was a much easier way to get what he wanted. His simple yet complicated idea was...Well it was using drugs of course.
Though their bodies would still be seen on earth, their minds and souls would be taken to another place, a place known as Wonderland.
At the time he laughed at his own idea, thinking how kids would believe it to be their haven but in reality a prison with no escape. They would be trapped forever and he assumed they wouldn't even notice.
Now, at the ripe old age of 19, this scientist began his work creating this 'drug', testing it on others until three years later he finally developed the perfect escape. Eventhough this drug seemed perfect in all aspects, there were some.....slight effects caused to the body. Yes, their minds were taken away form their bodies but not set free, no, instead they were forced to become characters in a play that the scientist was able to see front row. This, being unintentional or not, is what makes the drug so interesting.
You may ask again, if no one wakes up from the drug, then how do more people come to know of it? Well thats simple my chickies... This scientist, this evil, conniving male had manipulated people to believe they had gone on this 'trip' and to relay how awsome it was to those who would be fit for the 'play'. This is how he found the perfect people to join him in his world.
And this, is where our story begins....

[Setting]
The story takes place in present day Tokyo, Japan where every character lives. After taking the drug in the comfort of their home, work or anyplace else, the minds are then transferred into Wonderland where the rest of the story will take place.
Wonderland consists of basically anything and everything your mind can fathom. But like in the original movie, everything seems somewhat distorted and slightly...odd. Everything from large, monsterous plants to tiny, miniscule houses, just let your imagination be free.
[But, I know that ones imagination can be too much at times so if you thought of something to add that might be unreasonable please pm me for permission ^ ^ ]

Please follow all the rules stated. Those who do not will first be warned then if it continues banned from the thread. and believe me, we don't want that to happen right? >.<
[x] This is a given but follow all Gaia Rules
[x] Romance is encouraged but please, don't be too explicit. Take it to the pm's if you can't control yourself.
[x] Cursing is definitely allowed, I mean come on, doesn't every teenager out there swear daily? But for the record, please don't over abuse it.
[x] LITERACY is a MUST. I don't mind if you mispell things here and there but I'm sure everyone else besides me would like to be able to understand what your typing.
[x] No one-liners. People need something to go off of and usually one line just doesn't cut it.
[x] When OOC please use (( )), [ ], { }, or something to that effect. Make it clearly known your out of character.
[x] Be respectful to every person here. When in character it's quite alright to bash each other but don't do it in OOC ok?
[x] No god-modding or anything of the sort. Who wants to be god anyway?
[x] Type in small font. I'm not really sure why I want that but to me it just looks better xP
[x] Refrain from using * * for actions and always use " " when speaking. I know I shouldn't have to put this in but remember to talk in third person.
[x] PM ME your choice on who you want to be or your character sheets. Also, include a writing sample so I know that you've actually rp'd before. I'm not trying to exclude anyone but I would just like this rp to be as literate as possible.

Race: [Sorry to say but the only options you have are Human or Neko. No angels, demons or anything like that. Feel free to explain your nationality if you wish but it's not needed thought when you go into Wonderland you can be whatever you want.]

[x] Yes there will be fighting involved. I plan on, as being threadmaster, to randomly place trials for you to go through. You may think this really has nothing to do with the plot but really it does. Besides, it's something to spice it up if things get a little dull.

Personality: Kinda shy but hot-headed, argues a lot but drops it when he knows he lost. Why you took the drug: He took the drug because he thought his life pretty much sucked and there was nothing left for him, that he had no place in this world so he decided to take a lasting trip to Wonderland. Bio: He was just a regular kid untill his father commited suicide and his mother abandoned him. He got the drug from a friend at school who sold it under the command of the drug's creator. How you reacted to the drug: As soon as he took the drug, it made him go mad which lead him to laying down in a bathtub full of glass and knives. He passed out. In his mind's eye, he saw a a simple wooden door and once he opened it, he saw the mysterious world of Wonderland. Once his mother found his body, she called an ambulence and the doctors said that he was in a coma. Weapon: Shakujo (like Gojyo's from Saiyuki) Other: He goes nuts over blueberries and he hates water. RosesandBlood Username: RosesandBlood Character Name: Real name- Kai Yuiki/Wonderlandname- Kaiki Nicknames: Mouse Age: 17 Position: Seke, prefers Uke Race: Neko Appearence: Before Wonderland In WonderlandPersonality: He's a pretty nice, but he does have his bad times. He's honest and doesn't lie. Why you took the drug: He was bored with his life. Bio: Kai grew up in a noramal family and was a good student and son. But since he was always so nice and kept in the rules he soon got bored with his life and was straved for something exciting and new. How you reacted to the drug: He took the drug when he was home alone. He suffered from harsh body temperature changes and halsionations. Afterwards he tried to kill himself but failed because he passed out into a coma, with only barely cutting himself. Weapon: Long sword Other: He likes cherries he doesn't try and complain about stuff but he can have an explosive temper if he gets too mad.
