Welcome to newcomers and veterans alike. This is the official guild of Farland Clinic wherein you can roleplay with your children, your event toddlers, and keep up on your diary.

GUILD RULES 1. Please be respectful to others.
2. No flaming, posting personal attacks at other players in your journals, harrassing, etc. If you are found to be making a problem of yourself, you may be ejected from this guild at any time.
3. No buying/selling/swapping of children. These are babies, not baseball cards.
4. Farland Clinic exists in a modern-day Gaia setting. We will not warp our storyline to fit yours, you will have to come up with a reason your characters have heard about Farland Clinic and emerged to inquire about a baby.
5. Do not post in other people's journals without their permission. On your first (reported) offense, the post will be deleted and you will be warned. If you do it again, you may be reprimanded.
6. Please post all journals for event toddlers in the Orphanage subforum if you are giving them their own. Otherwise, you may group your toddler(s) in with your growing child's journal. This is simply to keep things organized.
7. Absolutely no twinking/powergaming/etc. If your child is manifesting magical powers, that's fine, but they may not be all-powerful and lord over everyone else in the roleplay. That's just plain not fun.
8. Do not abuse your child. Even if its IC for your character to call a child names, scream, and hit, don't do it. We personally find it offensive and don't want to see it. The Farland Clinic is careful to ensure the products of their research go only to loving homes and if you are not providing a loving home, your child may be taken from you.

GUILD FAQ Who do I talk to to get a diary made for my appointment?
No one. You can feel free to make and update your own diary at any time.
Can I make a diary if I haven't secured an appointment yet?
You can, but you'd probably be better off making a quest thread in our questers' subforum.
How often do I have to update my diary to keep my child from being taken?
Your child/pregnancy will never be taken from you even if you never post. However, if you show no activity, your appointment will never grow. That means you very well could be facing.....an eternal pregnancy! *DUN DUN DUNNNN* Be sure to update, kids!
How come my kid isn't growing? I've been updating my journal!
It could be a number of reasons, including but not limited to: Your child is not yet old enough to grow, you have not been active enough, you have a guest artist who has buggered off and we are attempting to locate/replace them, your artist and/or colorist has been attacked by real life and doesn't have time to make a new stage for you at the moment. Drop me a PM and we can discuss what needs to happen for your child to grow.
Why does my kid's most current stage have such a different coloring style from its last one?
Because Farland is only one person and at the moment, she is sorely behind. Occasionally she brings in the aid of a friend to assist with color jobs, and her friends all color differently.
Can I specify which colorist I'd like on my kid?
Unfortunately, no. Colorists will be assigned based on who has the time to color the growths as they come in.
There's an error on my cert! Who do I talk to?
PM Farland regarding errors (please provide the correct information as well) and she will pass the information on to the appropriate certist.
This person in the guild is harrassing me and they won't stop. What do I do?
Contact Farland and she will deal with them. If they persist, contact a breedables moderator.
Are there set growth requirements for me to meet in order to advance to the next stage?
Not at the moment, though they are in discussion.
Where's the growth form I'm supposed to fill out when I'm ready for my kid to grow?
At the moment, there is not a growth form. This, too, is in discussion.
Do the Event Toddlers grow at all?
There will be, in the future, a potion to turn event toddlers who have been regularly RPed into growing children.
How do I get an event toddler?
Event toddlers are most usually given out on holidays. Any events they can be recieved from will be announced in the main thread.
What if I quit Gaia? What happens to my baby?
If you leave with no announcement, your child will hang in limbo indefinitely. If you would like to pass your child off to a new guardian so that they can continue to grow and develop, you will need to PM either this mule or Farland to discuss it with her.
