I have a series of stories called the Phobia Series. This is the first one:
Phobia Series #1
Acrophobia
I slid the cover over the window. "Don't look, don't look, don't look," I said under my breath, repeating it like a mantra.
I hated planes. I couldn't stand them. If I went even an inch over my height I would freak out. I even fainted a couple of time. Anyway, I'm sitting on this plane trying to convince myself that all it's engines wouldn't fail, and we'd go plummeting down towards the ground at God knows how many miles per hour and. I shook my head. "Stop thinking like that, stupid," I thought, "It won't help you at all."
I felt the plane tilt as it took off into the air. I just my eyes tightly, pressing myself against the seat. The rumbling of it going through the air made me whimper. God, I whimpered. That was probably one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. I don't think anyone heard it though. My hands gripped the arms of the seat until my knuckles turned white.
Finally, the plane reached smooth sailing. I relaxed slightly, not completely. I can never relax completely in the air. Amazingly, though, I found myself drifting of to sleep.
I was woken up by a large bump. The plane had hit some turbulence, and I was completely petrified. My hands once again gripped the arms of the chair.
The plane hit some more turbulence, and some more, until it wouldn't stop. People were screaming now. The lights on the plane were flickering on and off.
I opened the window and saw nothing but clouds. Then suddenly we broke out of the clouds and I saw we were heading towards the ground at God knows what speed.
We hit and there was immediately an explosion. Then I woke up.
I made it to the airport without any trouble, but the dream still scared me. My Grandmother ran up and hugged me. "Welcome to Toronto," she said.

Somehow, she talked me in to going to the C.N. Tower. I was pressed against the wall, while she was walking on the glass. "Come on," she said. "The glass ain't gonna break."
I shook my head. She gave an exaggerated sigh and ran over to me. She grabbed my arm and literally dragged me over onto the glass.
As soon as I stepped onto the glass I heard an explosion and lots of screaming. Then I felt the tower tilt.
~*~
All these memories rush through my head as the tower heads towards the ground. 'This is just a dream,' I think. 'I'm gonna wake up any minute now.'
The tower hits the ground, and I don't wake up. I go to sleep.
