Info: This aloof and arrogant girl's round eyes are the color of rich rubies. Her waist-length, straight, silky hair is the color of pure ebony, and is worn in a elegant style, but sometimes (on rare occasions) you can find it in a freefall and when she wakes up it's in a braid, but as she sleeps it is in freefall, and she has a very delicate figure. Nobody knows how her parents were murdered, but they know before they died that they left their only child on the doorstep with a note reading:
Dear Tao Family,
We are leaving you to care for our only daughter. Her name is Ruby, she is no older than your Ren, please take good care of her and let her know as soon as she is five that we are dead. She lives with Jun and Ren, and she has a spirit although she doesn't want to participate in the Tournament. She has a humongous crush on Ren and does everything in her power to help him, even if he does get annoyed at her in the process. She only has one picture of her parents and hurts ANYBODY who touches it, even Ren. She helps the boys by making tonics and potions to heal. All in all she is like Ren, if you push enough buttons she will use a colorful array of wisdom (aka. open a can of Tao/Rae family butt-whoop) on you. She learned at the age of five, after she learned of her parents' death, that her family did Tai Chi Quan. She uses a Bo, a Chinese wood stick, it looks not very dangerous but ask the Shaolin monks, they would be able to kill you in less than two hits. And it's the best protection weapon ever, because there is no blade and you can choose how much you want to hurt your opponent!

Info: This generous and wise spirit girl's round eyes are the color of coal . Her mid-back, silky, fine hair is the color of ripe cherries, and is worn in a complex style and she has a delicate figure. Her skimpy costume is black and red and it glows with a strange but soothing light and it includes a tiara. She used to be a Chinese priestess, before she died, and has learned from the Shaolin Monks at her temple fierce fighting skills with the Bo and Tai Chi Quan. She died when she caught a terrible sickness, but she always wanted to be a spirit for a shaman. She is like Ruby in many way: she like the same flowers as Ruby, reading, aromatherapy, Tai Chi Quan, the Bo, and hanging with the girls. And instead of being obsessed with cherries, Mei is obsessed with plums, and that’s probably because her name, Mei, means plum. She has wisdom beyond her years and often gives Ruby helpful advise. She has a big crush on Bason, and doesn't want Ruby to know, but fails hopelessly but comes back with a denial and ends with "Honest!". But when Ruby blushes around Ren she goes ballistic and telling Ruby she's a hypocrite. She, like Bason to Ren, has unlimited amount of loyalty to her mistress, and she is rarely seen yelling at Ruby, mainly telling her that she needs to use her head and to stop being a hypocrite.
