She smiled after he looked away. Alec didn't even recognize her. But she had to leave now. If Nick walked in it was over. She stood up and drained the last of her milk. She then walked out the back door.
"Hmmm lets go see whats going on. I'm gonna rock this world."
She had skipped dimensions until she found him. they had all fought side by side at one time. the evil they fought was powerful. Who ever the big bad guy was here he wouldn't stand a chance. and even if it did. Nick could tear it apart regaurdless. she saw the begining of the last fight. before the cameras lost to interferance. she saw the awsome power that radiated from that area. the world cried out in the only way it could. through disaster.
she shook her head. the past was gone. How would he act if he knew we were all alive? would he flip?
"God what should I do? Why did I come here if I'm to afriad to see him?"
she looked at the sky. "I have to tell him we're okay. he's losing himself again. and if he does he'll destroy everything."

fifty feet til he was inside. He felt it. Nick looked around. then he stared ahead and closed his eyes. whatever it was it was faint. but it was there. familliar.
"Who the hell?" It was off to the left. but no one was there. He shook it off. "Alec... I..uh..."
Nick stood there. it wasn't Alec. but it was there. he knew who it was. but he couldn't put a finger on it. and suddenly he knew it was impossible. "My mind is ******** with me again. I am losing it aren't I? It can't be..." He looked up.
He had better things to do then chase the past. he had to take out Gambino. just like he had been planning, and if Alec got in his way he'd be sorry. "Screw it. I'm doing it now." Nick turned towards Gambino's mansion. forty minute run. He had atleast twenty before Alec came looking.
"seems I got a head start. Lets do this!" Nick took off for the island. He shoot right by her. he saw her. But it was to late, by the time he stopped he was already at Basken lake. "... no" He took off for Gambino's again.

he shot right by her. She stood there breathless. "Oh crap." He kept going having apperently not noticed her. she crept back into the shadows. "I have to be more careful... but. where is he going?"
She had an idea. "Alec... he doesn't remember me. I can use him to help me find a way to help Nick. he was in the pub!" She took off towards the pub again. she got in and saw him hunched over a glass of something. "Are you Alec Artanis the Dragon Knight?" she asked in a slightly flirty yet serious voice. She handed him a small bag of gold. "Please help me. I'm looking for someone I...met not too long ago. I think his name was Nick or something. He's a mercenary and he didn't finish the job I gave him." She waited for his answer in hopes that he wasn't completly smashed yet.

Alec stared at the counter. then he slowly raised his head. "What do I care?" Alec turned around to face her. "Thats your problem not mine. I've got no reason to find him right now." He tossed her gold back to her. then he returned to his drink.
He stared at it. why had he stayed. why had he given up his life as an archangel? why did he chose to be a human again? not even human either. it had been a miracle that he made to heaven in the first place being half... Alec looked up. "I think I've seen you somewhere before... who are you?" Alec stared at her. she had to know him. how else would she know he was a Dragon Knight? let alone his last name. they were both things he kept to himself.

Her mouth slipped open. well at least he wasn't drunk. "fine. I guess you really don't remember me. I'm Jessica. thats all I'm giving you besides the fact that I have to find Nick. If you really want I'll even tell you his real last name..." She looked at the ground. "I know you know his sanity is weak. We have to do something before he tries to... well You know the worst case senario. if he gets to that point there won't be anyone to stop him.... at least not here... oh and I have a message for you. Shes waiting." Jessica walked toward the door. "I'll be outside."

Nick looked up at the mansion. "Time to finish what I started. This time I won't run." As he walked his body began to change, slightly. A dark blue Aura surrounded him as he walked up the steps.
The blast was heard from every nook of Gaia. As large chunks of earth erupted into Gambino's marble palace. it fell with a deafening roar. NIck looked up and smiled at his work. "Now let's make it intresting." He summoned more strength. and the ruble was consumbed by lava.
from above the entire isle of Gambino was fine. untill you looked where the mansion used to be.
"This is Cindy Donovinh reporting for Gaia 9 Action news. In recent unknown Volcanic activity Gambino's Mansion has dissapered in a large pool of Lava. residents of the island have been forced to evacuate and Gaian officials are looking into the cause. If you have any expirance in volcanology or have information about how this happened please contact us here at Gaia 9 Action News."
Nick walked away from his work his a large smile on his face. "Mission. Complete." He tore up his contract with Cycon as he walked. "Now to go find Those annoying twins."

Alec sat there and thought. Why did she look familiar? how did she know Nick?
suddenly Alec felt his power. "Damn. It's begun." Alec turned to the tv on the wall. Cindy Was giving the report. Alec slamed his fist down on the table. "s**t!" He was out the door in seconds. And as he flew out he almost ran Jessica over. "Fine whatever. I'll find him." Alec took out the ancient artifact his friend long ago had given him. "DRAGON'S WINGS!" in seconds Alec was in front of the isle's bank. He looked left and saw Nick.
He put the dragon's wings away and walked up to him. "So this is what it has come down to? You got bored so you buried the mansion! What the hell happened to our plan!?!" Alec unsheathed his sword. "I won't stand by this. We were supposed to be a team. how do I keep up with you when you can't keep yourself busy for more than two seconds!?!"

"... uh what about me..." Jessica groaned with frustration. "JERKS!" She looked around. there was no one there. she stepped into the shadows and dissapered.
(ooc: I'm told I chose the wrong character. So I'll be changing my name. Nick Says it doesn't jive with his story. Sorry about that... I'm no longer jessica. so this is the last post shes in.)

Nick looked at him with unblinking eyes. "well buddy I guess you'll just have to stop me now won't you? WON'T YOU?" Nick thrust his hand into Alec's Face sending him flying back. "What do you know about life my friend?" Nick smiled and slowly unsheathed his own blade. "You know nothing. only happy memories and events for you. You can't say you've lost your true self. You always have been yourself." Nick walked closer and began letting his power flow freely. The earth began to split under his feet. lightning arched across the sky and water seeped out of the ground gracefully lacing it's self around him.
"What can you do to me? I killed a Demi-God. I am a Demi-God!" Nick roared with laughter. "Seriously you didn't see this coming? you truely are a pitiful fool 'old friend'" Nick thought a second. "Or should I say complete stranger? After all we barly know each other apart from what we've told each other. you were never around when it was happening."
Nick smiled. "I must say my past is quite dark." Held the point of the blade at Alec's neck. "Your move."

(occ: I'm listening to Mettalica's Master of pupets while typing this. It's cool!)
Alec kicked Nick's sword just hard enough to be able to do a back flip and land on his feet. He looked up and gripped his sword tightly. "SO...BE IT!" Alec's Body began to glow with holy light and large angle wings grew from his back. His eyes began to glow a bright green. and Dragon armor wraped itself around him. Alec took a battle pose. "I won't lose easily." Alec lunged forward and slashed at Nick's chest. The sword bounced off his chest. Alec looked up and saw demonic armor on Nick's chest.
Alec flapped his wings once and flew away from him. "Great I can't even hurt him!?!" Alec landed and thought of the only thing that would work. "My last resort already... Fine. I call upon Those Dragon's whom presented me with thyn Blessings! Our time is near! Ultimate attack of the Blade I weild. DRAGONS ARI.." Alec didn't block in time.

Alec didn't block in time was an under statement. Alec didn't have the time to blink. Nick's fist was clencing Alec's gut, Having shattered the armor he'd been wearing. Nick dropped Alec to the ground. "Fool. Thought I'd let you get away with that? But really I shouldn't have attacked you. it was your move. You were just taking to long. I got bored, and it's not like your wimpy dragon attack woulda worked."
Nick put his hand on the back of Alec's armor and tossed him clear past Barton. (Occ: We're in gambino right now...) Nick then laughed madly. He only stopped because he saw the impossible. Gambino stood before him.
"Very nice human. or shall I say Half-Demon?" Gambino clapped his hands. "There is nothing you can do to stop me. You should stop trying and go home."
Nick flicked his wrist and a large chunk of earth shot towards Gambino. what happened next made his insanity's mouth drop.
Gambino caught the mass of earth and eat it. Then tured to Nick. "Nice. it was slightly seasoned with the blood of an ally."
Nick's mouth hung open. "What are you gonna do eat me?"
"I have no intension of making you a snack... Right now. I offer for you to join me. help me crush the fools whom think they can stop me. When they are all dead I'll take you on. One On One. Mono y Mono. get it?"
Nick laughed. "Yeah sure in your dreams. NOW BURN IN HELL! HELL FIRE!" Nick concentrated and a giant Black flame erupted out of the ground. when it finally vanished Gambino was no where to be seen. "Damn....I missed."
"The FOOL! He should have joined me. Once he learns I have the God Hades at my disposle he'll come back crying."
(Occ: Note even though I'm a demon there is more than one evil god. The one I get my power from is Satan (you'll better understand when my book come out.) And The one Gambino seems to be in league with, Hades. Thusly the reason why Cycon needs our help. if we don't find a way to cut the link between Hades and Gambino we'll never expirance the Gaia we want. Those of you who have read all this Alec, Christine and I thank you. stay tuned. this Thread's story is done. The next one may be coming out soon.)
