Gavin didn't even know the board with information existed, and was much less able to read it. Instead he focused on the area below the platform, following suit with everyone around him and scanning around the area. He had no idea what he was looking for, however.
Deciding to help the little boy out, Remi pointed to the leopard stretching out in a tree.
"Do you see the leopard, Gavin?"
It took him a minute, but once he saw the fur amongst the trees he became much more interested. Giant kitties!
"Big cat!" he pointed, before seeing the rest of them on the ground. His head darted from each one, amazed. If he wasn't strapped into the stroller, he wouldn't have thought twice about leaping into the pit itself. They looked fluffy and cuddly, as he obviously didn't get a clue from the large pile of bones near the water hole as to how predatorial they were. As far as he knew they were just big, interesting house cats.
