Kazuki was thinking about what she said. He didn't understand the second part of what she said about something being "possible" and "so suddenly." This had Kazuki thinking for a while. Though he was thinking, he was still able to talk and do other things. "Well, people are supposed to talk freely... I guess. It's ok to be a little shy, but some day you'll have to talk. If you don't then you'll miss out on lots of things... like making a friend. You have to talk to a person to be a friend. If you don't, well, I don't know what it's called," Kazuki said still looking at the sky and thinking. "Also, um..." Kazuki says as he turns his head at Rae. "What did you..." Kazuki stops as he notices a tear on Rae's cheek. "Why is a there a tear?" Kazuki asks himself in his mind. He cleared his mind about the second part and thought why a tear was on her cheek. He didn't quite understand at all.

Raea Rae's slender body began to shake gently as she sobbed quietly into her hands, turning her head the other way slightly just to mask her embarrassment of crying in front of somebody else. 'I'm such an idiot!' ran through her mind again and again as warm tears ran down her cold, and now sodden, face. She didn't like the continuous feeling of being weak and unwanted, but at this point she didn't know what else to so but cry. It wasn't like her and more than anything she really wanted to stop her sudden gush of emotion. Breathing deeply she tried to stop her sobbing, but she failed, only managing to quieten herself opposed to stopping herself. "Sorry" she muttered as she frantically tried to wipe away the offending rivers that were running down her face.

Kazuki stares blankly at Rae. He didn't know what was going on with her, but he did know what he should do. He was a bit nervous, but moved quickly. He hugs Rae and holds her hand gently. "It's okay to cry once in a while. Just let everything out of you, 'kay?" He wanted to let Rae get everything she had bottled inside her out. Kazuki held Rae close to him as he didn't want her to be embarrassed about what she was doing.

Raea Rae was startled by Kazuki's sudden movement, but she gently squeezed his hand as he held onto hers. She placed her forehead slowly onto his shoulder and continued to weep silently.
"I-I…I just…" said through her whimpering, hiccuping slightly as she did so "I don't understand. Everyone else hated m-me" she admitted as she brought her free hand up to her face and once again tried to rub her tears away, still embarrassed that she was crying even if the boy hugging her had said it was okay.
"B-but you talked to me and n-now you're hugging me too, comforting me" she didn't know that to think or feel, but at that moment she was sure that she was feeling an emotion that she had not felt for the longest time. Happiness.

Kazuki stares out into the sky as he listens to Rae. He understood what she was talking about, being hated by others. "Ehh... Everyone doesn't hate you at all. Some people hate you, but others don't, like me." Kazuki wraps one of his arms around Rae's body as he holds her hand with the other hand. "I can talk to you and hug you easily because... we know each other a bit. We're friends, right?" Kazuki asks as he holds on gently to her hand.

Raea Rae nodded quietly into their soft, warm embrace; her tears no longer flowing and a small, gentle smile appeared on her face. "Uh-huh. Friends..." she agreed, leaning slowly away from Kazuki to look him in the eyes.
"Thanks" she said a true, cheerful smile on her face. "Really, I mean it" she added emphasizing how grateful she was that for once she had a friend and a friend as good a Kazuki was.

Kazuki smiles as he was very glad Rae had stopped. "I didn't really do anything to deserve a thanks." Kazuki still holds onto Rae's hand as he looks at the sky for a bit. He had something on his mind, but after a couple of seconds, erased it. He looks back at Rae, still with a smile on his face.
