Ok, so this might sound REALLY, super dumb to some people (especially huge fans of this anime...) but, I'm going to ask it anyway becuase I'm curious now.

I was watching S-cry-ed last night and I have always pronounced the title exactly how it looks: Es-cry-ed. But I noticed the title in Japanese yesterday and the characters read: Sukraido...at least, that's what I got out of it. I'm not a master at reading Japanese, but I get by and my memory is a little blank since I was really tired when I was watching...

So, now I'm kind of confused. I know, I know...this is really dumb...But I just want to know, have I been pronouncing the name of this anime all along? XDDDD I'm not even that big of a fan of the anime...I can't seem to get into it...I love the animation and the character designs but I just can't seem to get into the story line and junk. Maybe that's why I never really thought about the name until now. And while I'm on the subject, what the hell does the title "S-cry-ed" have to do with the anime? Is there some deep meaning to it...Or something? I don't know...

s-CRY-ed --pronounced-- Sukuraido

The meaning of the name isn't explained in the anime. Only manga. s-CRY-ed is the "word of evolution" which refers to achieving the Alter's final form. (Where the User and the Alter can fuse together to become a more powerful being)

I understand not being able to get into the story. It took me a long time to actually start watching it again after the first disc. But I just decided to one day...and I was glad I did. It gets alot better. And I actually really like it now.
