So if Anita never gets the fourth mark and grows old and dies, do Jean-claude and Richard die, too?

Hmmm...
You know, I don't think the thought has ever crossed my mind before.
Theoretically, she and Richard can still die of old age... and if either of them did, I would assume that the other two would at least be seriously hurt.
But then again, maybe triumvirates don't work the same as master-servant relationships. So maybe only Jean-Claude would suffer if Anita bit the dust.
Then again, Anita survived after what's-his-face marked her before getting staked. Maybe Jean-Claude would too?
Or, for those of you who've read Danse, maybe she'd... pull what she pulled there again. (Spoiler in white) You know, where she tried to cut herself off from the triumvirates?
At any rate, I don't think LKH will let that happen. Even if she doesn't get the fourth mark by the end of the series... death by old age? For the Executioner.
Of course, don't forget that if Anita dies, the story is over. Period. It's a first person narrative, and when that person is dead... yeah, doesn't work so well.

Ah, but Anita will stay young and the way she is b/c she's FULLY a part of the triumverate with her, Nathaniel, and Damian. I've thought about that this bit. (NEW THOUGHT: Nathaniel will stay young, hot and sexy! w00t!)
Not the getting old and Jean-Claude dying, but the bit I just mentioned. I just wonder whether LKH remember/knows/applies this or not...

She cant die...at least not of old age...Vampire servants will live as long as their vampyric master lives, which means that Richard wont die, nor Nathanial and Damian (who would not infact die anyways...seeing as he is a vampire. ^.^)

Anyway...I don't think she would die if she not receive the fourth mark. Not of old age. She'd probably stay young looking because of Jean-Claude being the vampire. *shrugs* I haven't read the latest book. I have to borrow it from my friend who has it.

as I haven't read the last book yet, I don't know half of what this conversation is. but that doesn't matter to me. xp
I'd think that the other alternative to dying is to become a vamp. (isn't that the same thing as dying? yes, it is.) so, perhaps if anita could die of old age and isn't able to save jean claude and richard and damian and nathaniel, then she could turn vamp?
then the question remains, what would that do to the trimverates? because in both cases, for anita and other triumverates mentioned, there was always one vamp, one human, and one shapshifter. what happens if the bridge between the living and the dead suddenly dies? then you have two dead and one living...and then what?
