I'm kinda dissapointed
razz it's like they're just re-releasing all the expansions for sims 1 and trying to get as much money for them as they can instead of bundling them into one. They already know people will buy it so it's not like they need to spread them out to see if the game will last like with sims 1.
I am happy there's pets, but I can just see taking them on vaction while you use spells to grow magical plants coming right after it and maxis soaking up money
Personally, I don't really have much of a problem with them re-releasing old expansion packs as long they pick the good expansions. I probably wouldn't buy another vacation pack, but unleashed and makin' magic were awesome and I've been missing those when I play the sims 2. Of course I would also like to see new stuff as well, but sims 1 stuff just brings back good memories.
It wouldn't be practical to release all the content in a big bundle, because it takes time to make new items and code new features into the game, so you could think of each expansion as a patch for the things they just didn't have the time to put into the base game. Although, I really believe that certain things like the family fun pack should have just been put up as a free download on the main site, since there just wasn't enough content when compared to the stuff you can get for free from fan sites.
