Due to the very sad close of the Math Guild, as some people who were also part of it are aware of, we felt that a very important subject was about to be lost from Gaia's forums to the extent that we've decided to enhance the scope of our guild. We have included an extra subforum dedicated to Math and also renamed our guild "The Physics and Mathematics Guild". When Physics and Math come together it's gotta be a great combination ;p

I hope you guys enjoy the new addition, and yes, a new banner will be made shortly.

that's true, weird huh. There's a lot of inactive members though. The number's not that important, the guild has its own set of devoted members.

erm, still working on a different intro, haven't yet referenced the picture to the website it really belongs to. Don't think anyone's reading this though. oh well. soon enough it'll be bumped off the announcements.

I didn't want to close it but it was dead... crying

It was heart breaking but I didn't really know how to run a guild.

I was gone for an extended time to while I was in a mental hospital. Please don't hate me I still love math you guys... crying crying crying

THink of it as an annexation, we annexed math. Now even though the math subforum is slow, we still have a whole other spectrum of things to talk about, that way the slowness of the subforum isn't that big a deal. Also we realize things are slow around here, but for intelligent conversations it's worth it (as opposed to really fast, blubbery and stupid threads). Anyone can contribute at whatever time to whatever subject, if they wish to. It's not an 'open until tomorrow' deal.
