It was a fine sunny day in Konoha. Hinata walked down the busy streets alone. She greeted people she knew as she walked. She stopped dead on her tracks when she saw a particular blonde boy inside the ramen house.

"Naruto..." She whispered to herself.

Naruto thanked the owner of the ramen house and stood up. "It's as wonderful as ever! Arigatou!" As he walked out, he saw Hinata. "Oi, Hinata!" He ran toward her

Hinata was shocked when she heard her name from him. She was surprised to see him coming as well. When he was in front of her, Hinata said shyly, "N-n-na-naruto... H-h-he-hello!"

"It's a fine day, isn't it?" Naruto looked around her. "I see your alone. Wanna go for a walk?"

'Naruto's asking me what?' Hinata's eyes grew wide. But she regained composure and nodded. "That'll be great!"

They started walking around Konoha. People greeted them but one old woman said, "What a cute couple!"

Hinata blushed a little while Naruto didn't care that much. Then, Naruto asked her, "Why are you blushing?"

"I-i-it's n-n-nothing."

"You're not sick, are you?" He placed his palm on her forehead.

Hinata blushed a deep shade of red. People did look at them but she didn't care. Naruto was there. And he was concerned about her. That was all that mattered to Hinata.

Then, he smiled and removed his hand from her forehead. "That's good. You're not sick." 'Neji would kill me if you are.'

Neji was looking for her cousin around Konoha. Her father wanted to talk to her.

Then, he saw her with Naruto. 'Why is she with that guy?' "Hinata!!!"

Hinata looked at the person who called her. "Neji?" 'What if he saw what Naruto did? He'll kill Naruto for sure!'

Neji approached them. "Hinata, your father is looking for you."

"I'll accompany her home." Naruto volunteered.

Neji answered, "No need. I'll take her home." He looked at her. "Let's go."

Hinata said, "Okay." Then, she looked at Naruto. "Th-thanks for w-w-walking with m-m-me today, Na-naruto! See you l-l-later!" Hinata and Neji walked away.

Naruto smiled and said, "Ja Ne, Hinata." 'Oh well, at least I got to be with her today....'
