I recently heard that konami was releasing 1 and 2 for the psp, but in actuality it would be a much better idea for them and us if they were to rerelease a revamped glitch free version of a duel pack for the playstation. because i mean its playable on the ps2 and i believe more ppl would buy it. anyone agree or disagree?

I don't think it'd make much sales because Suikoden I and II are already playable on PS2, the few glitches being fixed won't make much of a difference in sales. I think they should do a "Final Fantasy Origins" sorta' thing on this upcoming gen of consoles though.

It would be nice if they release it over here. Why worry about a port that NA might not even see at all.

As far as I've heard, Konami has no plans to rerelease S1+2 in America, PSP or not.

what i mean to say is its very hard to get a copy of either game so it'd be a good idea to do this for the many ppl that dont feel like playing 70+ dollars for a copy

Even if they remade it or revamped it, the game would still be pricey since they'd want to make a profit off of it. That'd be nice if they fixed them up though because I'm just missing the second one and that costs about $200 dollars for a nice one on Amazon. (Even I'm not that fanatical to buy it at that price)

The playstation is a dead system it would be like making a new game for an Atari but I hear that the PS3 will be PSP compatiable and the PS3 will not have langauge boundries meaning one could play a imported game without a *cough*chip*cough* all you would need to now is Japanese and I can't give any help on that one sorry
So if they release it or not it should be okay if you got the money for a PS3 mind you and sadly again I can't help you with that either sorry

KOnami has always been a cheapskate. I don't think they would re-release Suiko 1 & 2 in US anytime soon unless they decide to do a remake and for me, I don't like that idea. Though the PSP thing is neither a rumor or fact. I heard that Playstation plans to release old playstation games -- including suiko 1 & 2 -- via the internet meaning all you need to do is download the game and save it in your PSP mem card. You'll pay per game you download.
I don't know if this is already implemented though. But I would still prefer a hard copy instead of just the download.
