He didn't respond to that. He's only seen his mother once. He calls her a lot, so that's fine for him. "You should come inside. Well, if you want. It's rather hot," he said shifted nervously, looking down at the ground.

His tail flicked hyperly for a sec before saying. "My house is just on that hill. Mom's not home. I'm sure she won't mind if you stayed a bit though!"

Takai started towards his home. His tail swaying happily. He hummed lightly. It was a soft tune. Like something that would be played on a piano. He then looked back to see if the other cat boy was following.

Clay followed suit, about 2 feet behind Takai. His eyes wandering, he listened to Takai's humming.

Takai's tail swished as he fumbled in the gutter of the house for the key. Finally finding it, he cleaned it of and unlocked the door to his house. He was still humming softly.
