I am from a house,
Of love and chaos,
Where we made strangers our friends,
And where we cry in each other's arms,
Instead of alone.
I am from roses and tomatoes,
Growing in our yard,
Where we go for long walks,
Or go to the blissful parks.
Where we go to the pond,
Or stray in the road.
I am from "Do you chores!"
"I love you," "Sweet Dreams,"
Where no matter how hard life seems to be,
We get over it together.
I am from colors and words,
Pictures and thoughts,
That float around our big white house,
Where our memories are recorded,
Over and over again.
I am from my parent's love,
Or my sister's care,
My grandmother's encouragement,
And love inside.
(Half of that is incorrect about my family, but it was a school project and I couldn't say the truth about em, so yea.)
