Ayumi finally found her room, she opened the door and dragged her bags in, thankful that no one was paying the slightest attention to her. She pulled her bags over to her bed and threw them on, noting that there was only one bed in the room, she sighed a breath of relief, not wanting to be in contact with anyone, if she could avoid it. But she found that rather hard when in public places. She pulled her things out of her bag and tried to open one of the drawers in her dresser. It was stuck, Ayumi set her htings down and put both hands on the handle, she leaned back on ehr feet and pulled. The drawer slid out easily and Ayumi fell backwards, the drawer fell on top of her as she landed on her back, hitting her head hard against the floor. Ayumi sighed, sitting up and rubbing the back of her head, she replaced the drawer and began placing her clothes in it, emptying her bag.

Ayumi looked over, seeing a unifrom laid out on her bed, she looked from it to her clothes that were almost all put away. She sighed and finished putting away her clothes, she would wear them when she wasn't going out. In the mean time, she hung her unifrom on the back of her door and pulled the sheets and pillow out from her bag. She slipped the new pillow cover on and set it down on the floor, opening the sheets, she put them on the mattress and placed her pillow at the head of her bed. She looked around her room. It didn't look at all like her old room. And she liked that, it was smaller, everything was wood, with that sort of pine smell. Her old room, back at her house, was all white, as if it was that way just so that the maids could spot anything that could possibly be dust and destroy it at once. Ayumi sighed and looked down at her card key, the key to her door. It shimmered in the light that came from the lamp, since there were no windows. And she was okay with that, she didn't expect there to be any, but the fact that there would be no breaze on her face at night upset her just a little. She smoothed out her blankets and folded the top. She looked around the room, it was very clean and everything had it's place. She liked it that way, she would add nothing to make it her own, because that would make her stand out. She lay down on her bed, looking up at the ceiling and thinking about nothing.

There was a knock at her door that made her jump. Ayumi looked over at her door, not moving, wondering if maybe she stayed quiet enough that the person would go away and she wouldn't have to interact with them. She held her breath as the scilence waited for something to move. The shadown at teh bottom of the door moved and Ayumi watched it as a peice of paper was slipped under the door. The shadow left and Ayumi quietly moved over to the door, picking it up and opening it she read:

Ayumi blinked down at the paper, wondering how or why she had gotten this job. She stood up and walked back over to her bed where she lay on her back, one hand holding hte paper up above her face and the other resting on her waist. She stared at the letter as if it would answer her questions if she looked hard enough. She sighed and her hand slowly dropped to the bed and her eyes closed.

There was a noise outside her room and Ayumi woke, there were voices that trailed off down the halls. She sighed and sat up from her bed. She looked around her new room, not having much to do, she slipped on her uniform and put her card key into her pocket, she opened her door and walked out into the hallway, making sure to shut her door. -------> hallway

Ayumi sighed, shutting her door and laying back on her bed. She looked over at the clock...
6:30
Her first day of real classes were a few days off. She gathered the strength to stand up and changed into her night clothes. She pulled the blankets back and settled herself in fr the night. No matter what time it was, Ayumi could always fall asleep in a comfortable place. She let out a small sigh as her eyes closed and her mind slipped into dream land, where everything was fine and nothing ever went wrong.
(*P.S. - It's the weekend no classes til after the Midori Festival. So you will have a whole week off. ) -Montkun

Ayumi sighed, she was so tired even though it was her first time really spending the amount of time she was going to away from her parents, she just couldn't get happy about it. She didn't even bother to look over at the clock and couldn't tell if it was night or day because there was no window in the room. She had made up her mind the moment that she had heard that there was going to be a festival. She wasn't going. She couldn't stand the thought of any school festival any more then a normal person could stand the thought of chewing off thier own arm. She wasn't going and no one could make her. Her eyes closed slwoly as she began another sleep, not caring if the sun was up or not, she just wanted to sleep the festival away.

Ayumi sighed, rolling over on her bed, the metal collar around her neck made it hard to find a postion in which to sleep. She watched the wall, colors began to swirl and shapes began to form. She was once again in that shed. The shed where all her nighmears took place after the incident. The place where she never wanted to be, yet almost always found herself when she was having a scary dream. Now the lights were on, unlike all other times she had visited the shed, which threw her off guard. She looked around and sat up from the floor where she had been laying, dirt spattered one side of her body from laying on the ground. her hands were tied behind her back and her feet were bound as well. Something shifted in the corner of the room, Ayumi didn't move, the corner was dark despite the bright lights hanging over her head. The light lit her up but seemed shrink away from the corner where whatever had moved was staying. Ayumi felt a shiver sneak up her spine, what ever was over there was watching her. She knew it. She couldn't see them. But she knew it. "W-who's there?" she asked, her voice small and squeaky, she closed her mouth at once, because at once she wished she hadn't spoken. The light flickered and was gone along with Ayumi's compousure. Ayumi began shaking and she pushed herself back against the wall. What had once hidden in the corner was now coming towards her. At once Ayumi could see the face, the face that had hidden in every corner of every room for years after the incident. But now the name that came to her mind wasn't the name that she had seen on the news, the one that she had heard come from the lips of her friends mouths and had shuddered upon hearing. This one was new, this one was Sanzo Chojin. She swallowed hard, her throat was tight, too tight for her to yell. The door to the shed opened and Sanzo disspeared. Ayumi blinked in the light, a figure stood in the doorway, shaking his head at her. He untied the ropes on her wrists and legs and left her on the floor. "Wait!" Ayumi called, the figure stopped, "What's your name?" she asked, "Rothyk, Cyndir Rothyk." was all that Ayumi heard before the figure had left and the room was dark again.
Ayumi opened her eyes, darting them all over the room until she was positive that it wasn't that shed. She sighed.
just a bad dream she thought, but the names were something that were new. She had never heard the names before, but she knew she must have seen them somewhere. Because that's what dreams were, only bits and peices of your memory twisted and turned into random things in your dreams.
That's all it was she thought, turning over in her bed and pulling the blankets close to her.that's all it was

Ayumi lay in her bed, looking at the covers that she had drawn over her head. She wasn't going to think about the names. No. She wouldn't. They must have just been something that her mind picked up from a place she no longer remembered. Yet her brain had remembered them They had been stuck to the side of her mind and when she had rolled over in hersleep, they had fallen into her dreams. Yes. That was what had happened. She took a deep breath and slwoly pulled the covers from her face, the cold air from the room swqept down over herfacea nd seemed to calm her. She pulled them down to around her neck and sighed, tucking the blankets tight around her she nestled into the pillow and closed her eyes. Sleeping. She culd always fall asleep in a comfy place. And now, she was afraid of that. Afraid of another dream. She didn't want to stay awake because then she would have to deal with reality. But alsleep she could make anyone or anything do what she wanted them to and when she wanted. She had the power. Unless it was a nightmear. Then she was powerless. And that was why she found herself wanting to sleep, yet wanting to stay awake. It that place where you know what's going on around your body, yet your mind still plays tricks on you. Where you don't have to deal with anything but still have to deal with something.
