OMG Lady, I love the 2D banner in your signature! :currently listening to Demon Days:
Yeah, most doll companies send dolls out with eyes already in their heads even without faceups.
It's also really easy to get eyes in and out, as long as they're not hot-glued in. :grumble:

Oh, well someone ordered an Angel Elf Soo on DoA and they taped the eyes in because they weren't already in eek . I was just wandering, but maybe it's just that type of doll and not the others which would still be a problem as that is one of my choices whenever my aunt gives me my money back and my dad decides to stop being a**l.

(I helped my friend with her happy doll and im buying one soon too)

I think that you can buy eyelash glue, like actual doll eyelash glue. I may be mistaken, but I think Volks sells it (or at least used to)

I highly reccomend NOT supergluing, nail gluing, or human lash gluing the eyelashes to your doll. I find that these methods are NOT safe for the doll's faceup if the lashes get crushed and you want to pull them out again.
A few fixes I've heard that ARE safe are:
WHITE CRAFT GLUE - Not a very strong kind unless you're delicate and protect the face and don't intend to replace lashes. Use a pin or toothpick to apply a small amount and press into place gently.
MASKING TAPE - just inside the eye where it's not visible.
NOTHING AT ALL BUT THE EYES - This is tricky but if you do it right the eyes can hold the lashes in nicely.

I use tacky glue for my eyelashes (also for sueding and gluing velcro to my dolls head caps to keep wigs attached). It holds VERY firmly, but it comes off super easy with a bit of warm, mild soapy water. Just soak the head for a few minutes and they come right out. You can soak the lashes a bit longer and then carefully rub the glue out of the lashes, let them dry and you can reuse them.
Also, to avoid stains, coat your dolls in MSC several times. I coat mine at least five times in the legs/butt area and in the wig area to keep them from getting stained from jeans and wigs. If you do see a stain, you can rub it off with magic eraser or with a bit of alcohol. Respray and you're good. smile
