For an explanation of what things are taken into consideration for each 'level' of activeness, just read the following information.
Active: Those who are considered to be active are, as one would expect, active in the main thread. These people are almost always found in the thread on a daily basis, chatting and/or RPing. Pokemon belonging to active trainers will evolve automatically when she or he has reached the needed level and/or the proper evolution stone/item is purchased. (leveling: 1 level per two days)
Semi-active: Semi-active people aren't as active as those in the previous group. These people stop by now and then, although most of the time on a weekly and somewhat sporadic basis. Nonetheless, while they might not be as active daily, they still make an effort to stop by more often than not. Pokemon belonging to semi-active trainers will evolve when the trainer asks for them to evolve (if the pokemon is at or exceeds the needed level) and/or the proper evolution stone/item is purchased. Priority for semi-active trainer evolutions is higher than those considered inactive. (leveling: 1 level per three days)
Inactive: Inactive trainers are just that - inactive. Unlike the people considered semi-active, the trainers falling under his category have either stopped dropping by the main thread or post/RP every now and then - in other words, their appearances are rare. Pokemon belonging to inactive trainers will evolve when the trainer asks for them to evolve (if the pokemon is at or exceeds the needed level) and/or the proper evolution stone/item is purchased. Priority for inactive trainer evolutions is lowest; especially if the pokemon being requested to evolve is one whose lineart has not yet been done. Those who have seemed to 'poof' from the main thread or tend to just make one post every now and then (not even enough to be considered semi-active) will be demoted to this status level. (leveling: 1 level per four days)
Note: Some people are considered exempt from the active guidelines, no matter what. Included are staff and pet trade recipients. There might also be a person or two in which either Zoo and/or I have deemed worthy of being exempt, as well - but of course, in such (a) case(s), the reason is quite valid.
