I watch as birds soar over my head,
The sun gleaming its light.
The trees rustle,
As the wing blows over me.
I see green as far as I can see,
HIlls fly up to touch the sky,
Faces I know,
Come into place,
Splashing water up into my face.
I lie down and watch the clouds,
Switching their places with each other,
I look at my house,
The dogs are playing,
The birds are singing,
The cats are purring,
There are no burdons upon my chest,
For it is summer.
(This is like my favorite poem I've ever written. I've considered putting it into a song... but I don't know!! rolleyes )
