okay, maybe not. just listening to a song called "inspiration". quite sweet, actually.
anyways. where do you get your inspiration from?
as for me, i read, watch movies and anime, and listen to music, like everyone else. i guess that's where most of my inspirations come from.

i generally get my inspiration from simple things. small acts of kindness (or malice), a rusty doorknob, or a wilted flower. music plays a role, but only because i find it hard to draw in almost-silence. the inspiration might come from weird things people say ("it is better that you have escaped me"), or just your passing stranger that happens to catch my eye.

I often get inspired by other people's art.
Or my dear ones, pets and family.
Fashion/beauty magazines with interesting photographs of pretty models can be really inspiring too.
But truth is I gotta force myself to draw most of the time. Like for someone's birthday, a commission ect. I like to have a subject to interpret, like an avatar or a person.

kinda what she says with the people and animals around me... nd magazines... but with me is it that I have to draw ore paint, even when it doenst comes out good.. cous otherwise I'll go crazy by all the ideas in my head floating around. rofl

Umm.... I've used songs as inspiration, but that usually doesn't work so well for me as, say, a picture of something that I like, or a strange formation in the marbling of my shower wall, or something odd like that. biggrin

About inspiration: I'm definetly inspired by music. When I hear the words I can see these pictures in my mind and some are so beautiful they need to be put on paper (even if I can't always make them quite right). I agree with Chemie too about magazines for inspriration. I also get inspired by comercials sometimes too ( it's kind of odd).
