I would simply like to post that Star City Games has posted the results from the regionals in France thus settling the arguement over which type 2 deck was going to be the best after affinity was nailed into its coffin. As per my predictions mono blue won and made the top 8 in every one of those regionals. So now we ask the question. Is there anything in type 2 right now that can beat blue? Yes there is. Mono green beats and R/G beats ate blue alive as we can see from the results. But the predictions of Tooth and Nail being strong have prooven wrong. Tooth and Nail is a slow clunky deck that gets wrecked by control. However with the current metagame the two best colors to play are blue and green. Which now poses the question. Kenny Hardcastle top 8'd with G/U control. So why haven't we seen this deck top 8 at any regionals so far? If they are the best two colors why, when combined do they lose? Feel free to discuss this issue. Thank You.

Because all the good cards cost 3 mana. There's a huge glut there that you either have to deal with (i.e. play a clunky deck) or take out some of the cards that make the colors good.

Reisen Because all the good cards cost 3 mana. There's a huge glut there that you either have to deal with (i.e. play a clunky deck) or take out some of the cards that make the colors good.

its really up in the air right now. bu has its strengths, but can only really win against weenie, beats, and tan. a good black deck would pick it apart and laugh... red is just hangin back right now and that really stinks cause i had high hopes for it after betrayers
