Funny story:
My grandmother used to eat pickled pigs feet, and insisted they were delicious, but had to eat them in the dark so she wouldn't have to look at them.

When I went to the Pan-Pan last weekend with a friend, she tried a pig's foot.
She said it was good but had a lot of little bones. She said she had to spit out the metatarsals. smile
I still don't want to mess with 'em. I load my plate with the wonderful Pan-Pan chicken livers--most tender chicken livers I ever ate, with a nice gravy & a little onion sauteed in! heart I despise any kind of liver unless it's tender & has gravy!

Liver is a good source of iron. 3nodding
Now, you want really weird--they have CHICKEN feet on the buffet at Imperial Gourmet on Wendover in Greensboro! gonk That's an awesome Asian buffet, but I still think chicken feet is a weird thing to eat.

Fun experience & yummy food all at once!
Fuji-San in Raleigh at Briarcreek Commons on Hwy 70 is great & has beautiful decor.

I would say anything that doesn't try to eat me first but I do have to exclude insects and anything with curry!
