I live in OC So CA (I won't get any more specific) Does anyone know of a place where I can find a copy of FFVII for the original Playstation? A place where I could get the Playstation would also be nice sweatdrop This may seem a little lame, but all my FFVII knowledge comes from Advent Children and the clips of FFVII in Advent Children's special features. sweatdrop

Orange County, southern California? Have you checked your local Gamestop/EB Games, or another video game/electronics supplier like Best Buy or Circuit City? Best Buy and Circuit City probably won't be so good, since they tend to sell the newest releases as opposed to older games...
Most Gamestops carry at least one Playstation game console SOMEWHERE, usually used. Finding Final Fantasy VII, on the other hand, might be a little more tricky, since the game is almost ten years old. If all else fails, you could order both online, although you might want to check out various websites beforehand to compare prices, as well as shipping costs.
If you have a PS2, then you don't need the Playstation, since the PS2 is backwards compatible. Also, do not forget to get a memory card specifically for the PSX unit, though. PS2 memory cards are designed differently, and cost much more too.
Heck, if you're willing to sacrifice some space on your computer, you can just get the PC version, which'll save you loads of money (since you won't need to buy a console or memory cards to use with it). However, just be aware that the PC version requires a special patch if your operating system (OS) is Windows XP. Just go search for it on Google and you're bound to find it.
Were there any specific sites you wanted to look at? razz akaSol I am not saying buy it from here but there is : alternativesSol Oh snap! The PC version alone is sixty five bucks, not counting shipping, handling, and tax? eek
I got mine for eleven bucks. *feels lucky*
Your best bet might be to find a locally owned video game store. They tend to have lots of used and hard to find games.

If ya want to find a brand new copy it's pretty much hopeless. You can search the internet but it's gonna be REALLY expensive considering FF7 is becoming quite the phenomonon. Watch local pawnshops, and the used section of game stores. If you're gonna find it at Game Stop, or EB, you'll have to ask the cashiers, cuz no way will they put the case out in the store. Or at least around here they don't with rare games.

Now I don't have to worry about getting a Playstation X, but I have already checked all the local gamestores and they don't have FFVII. my local Game Stop stopped accepting games from the PlaystationX at the beginning of summer, so I'll probably have to look online. I have done searches on Ebay and found that there are a suprising number of FFVII used for the Playstation. I don't want the PC version.

I got mine from the local GameStop for like 20 dollars. It was used, but in good condition.
