I agree with the whole "women being more observant" thing because a lot of predators expect us to be harmless. I walk tall and aware of what's happening at all times. It's something I had to do from when I was real small. I look 17 at best and I'm tiny in practically all aspects of the word. I'm also VERY in tune with my emotions. I just recently managed to get my emotional maturity close where it should be. I'm also closer to my dad than my mom. I can feel when people are following me when there's no one there (ask Maiden if you don't believe me) and I pointed straight at the science building on campus and said "[The entrance to the mines] is there.
So overall, women are basically forced into being more observant and that makes them learn to trust their gut more often then men.

Personally, I do think women have a higher chance of being more sensitive...And, perhaps, men are afraid of it!
Seriously, throughout history- going back as far as Mesopotamia- women have been the more "demonic" sex of humanity. Go on, look up the amount of "monsters" considered feminine or leaning towards a feminine role (ex. kitsune). It's not like there's a concise list, but the ratio of decidedly-female monsters to male ones is stunning. 3nodding Tiamat, the Greek chimaera, and yuki-onna are just scratching the surface.
Moreover, in a more Eastern mindset, females are associated with the "yin" side of the yin-yang. Monsters, demons, the moon, and death are also associated with Yin, the dark, mysterious feminine energy.

Trough my research and from my family and being a psychic myself.
Almost all the females in my family are psychic. Only a few males in my family are psychic including me.
The reason why women is more sensitive is because their much more understanding and they always have their minds wide open to new ideas
while most men are closed minded.
Cause from what I learned women can develope psychic abilities
at any time during their life while men as to get it early or they will never develope.

As some of you may know I've start going to a spirital development ring and brought this subject up with my Teacher. And what she said was while interesting, she said the best spirital psychic she knows (and know she knows quite a few famous ones) are male.
But when you work psychically with a living person women are best since a lot of the work you do with a living person is on an emotional level.
