Ah well i have connection to people and its on its way from hk asap.

I'm assuming you are aware of region coding?

i'm sure you are aware of the PS2's Action Replay Max
In addition to games, it works wonders on imported DVD's by bypassing the region code for the console [not quite sure how though, i'm no programmer]

Actually no, I don't care for Action Replay or Gamesharks because I already have my ps2 modded for region free dvds and games. Not to mention I've disabled the region setting on my laptop. There are many ways to get around the region coding (including the Action Replay) but it is something importers have to be aware of.

when david carradine did kung fu wasnt it cos bruce refused?
david didnt know any kung fu prior to the series

and tony jaa is now up on my top list.

kickboxer with van damme is prob my fave movie

Bruce Lee didn't do Kung-Fu... and I never heard that story before. David Carrodine was a martial arts practictioner before the Kung Fu series, weather he practiced Kung Fu or not I don't know... he is a skilled martial artist though.

Bruce Lee was supposed to do Kung Fu, but the producers declined the Director's request to cast him simply because he was Chinese. It was an American show, and the producers thought that the main character being Chinese would ruin it.

I really admired Bruce Lee's skills but his acting skills weren't that great sweatdrop ........Jackie Chan would probably be my favorite actor. He's funny, skilled, and helpful to the society. Jet Li is awesome too.

Jet Li is i think as good as Bruce Lee, although he did pave the way for many martial artist out there. However the one rising star that everyone should take notice is Tony Jaa, the guy from Ong Bak and The Protector.
HOLY CRAP was The Protector a good movie. The plot is kind of predictable.. but the fight scenes are SUPER. eek eek eek eek eek eek eek

I still haven't seen that movie. A few people told me about him, but I don't know him yet.

onee of my favorite samurai movies is called "When the Last Sward is Drawn." Great movie. good storyline and a lot of action. It doesn't have Bruce Lee or anyone like that, but I highly recomend it.
other is "Shinobi" (I don't think I spelt it right) it means ninja in Japanesse. Its really cool. but to get the main Idea cross Romeo and Juliet with X-Man and put in Chineese movie theatrics. its sweet.
I like the old movies were you have to read what their saying at the bottom of the screen. thats REAL samurai fighting. especially the Kawasawa (sp?) films.
