U'yosi prowled, again. His paws grew restless; every trail he found petered away, or led to a waterhole and never away, so he was left alone with nothing but mocking birds' laughter again. He'd let Tsi'hilu wander..... his daughter was better at finding her own way, he had come to the conclusion, and though it tore his heart again, by now it was used to such. So he grit his teeth again and went on the search for others. It was no good belonging to a pride when so few still were around.

Grey skies shifted overhead; it had been raining, and was starting to shift to sunshine once more, but as his dark paws crunched through the savannah grass the stocky male growled slightly in the back of his throat, and rather felt it fitted his mood.

Adhidevata's mood was not so dark; rather, she was calm and even a bit cheerful as she glanced up at the still-grey skies. The lioness was fascinated by the rainy weather, having lived all her life before this in a desert.

Scenting out the tattooed male, she followed his trail, swiping her forepaws at puddles along the way like some silly cub. When she finally spotted him, she calmed her playfulness and smiled. "Good day, U'yosi."

He'd noticed her approach, as he had been scanning for any other creatures, and turned, ears perking through the shaggy mane. He'd been taking a bit better care of himself now; he'd never completely fallen apart, it not being the practical thing, but the illnesses and deaths had aged him, he knew. He hoped at least he still looked respectable, muscles shifting under the tattooed fur as he smiled in return. He remembered her, and though not one of those he had been searching for, still a welcome sight.

"Good day, Adhidevata," he rumbled politely, a smile ghosting across his muzzle, picking his damp paws up in a trot to come to meet her. "It has been too long since we last met..." and he dipped his head deeply, ever respectful.
