The idea for the Lucky Devil Guild came from KHC, she was trying to cheer me up, after we and a few others left our previous Guild/Price Guide. She had watched me for the past year as countless hours were logged on Gaia trying to keep prices up to date and accurate as they could be, along with the creating and being a key role in building our previous Guild, she didnt want me to just throw that away.
The idea of building a new guild and opening a new price guide played on my mind endlessly. I kept asking myself over and over, was it worth the time and effort anymore. One morning a few days after, I woke and realized that updating prices and having more work than I could complete had become a huge part of Life for me. At that point I started planning and putting ideas and thoughts into motion to create this new guild called the Lucky DEVIL. I PM my trusted friend Umaeril also a experienced Price updater, whom had been with me at our previous Guild and run the idea by her, she said I am with you DLASTBIRD! Since that point the LD Guild has been constructed 1 post at a time.
Why was it called the Lucky Devil you may ask. Well, KHC was calling it "Project Lucky", she felt it would be luck to get me to go into another price guide/guild after the unfortunate greed of a fewpreviously. DEVIL came from "DLASTBIRD'S estimated value items listing", well Project lucky wasnt a good name for a guild and D.E.V.I.L. wasnt good either since Gaia already has a estimated value items listing. Then Lucky DEVIL came to mind, as you see that name won.
My hopes for the Lucky DEVIL is to create the most accurate and up to date price guide on Gaia, as well make it a pleasant place people wanna come to often to spend their time and who call it their home at Gaia.
One more thing many of you may know the name "Safehaven Charity" from someone who has been helped by Safehaven. It is a great Charity who has helped many along its span of life at Gaia. We are very pleased and proud to say that SafeHaven Charity, now calls Lucky DEVIL Guild its home too.
We surely hope that you will become a part of our New Home and Family, as we start from scratch in building this Guild.
