its not difficult- play a ton of guitars and buy best sounding/playing one you can afford. and don't do it all the same day.

personally i prefer gibsons over every other guitar brand out there, but that's just me. if you like the gibson designs, but they're too pricy for you, i would recommend going with an epiphone.

Well, I got my new guitar! I bought it last weekend for my birthday. It's a Fender Standard HSS Strat, Midnight Wine color. It feels awesome, sounds great, and I love it smile The color looks really nice, too. I've been trying to get a picture, but I don't have any available now. Thanks for all the advice you guys gave; it really helped me pick this out , and I'm super satisfied smile
