Mbali looked at Bari as she yelled, he agreed with her, they didn't deserve to live but not for the same reasons.
"No, Bari you can go in but I am leaving. You will have to stay here but I have to go back home." He sighed and got up, he was limping, his back leg had been crushed as he had been thrown the second time.

"Oh no you don't!" Bari snarled, running after Mbali. "You don't let me go back home, I'm NOT letting you go back home!" She growled angrilly, tackling hte boy, making sure to have avoided the injured leg. "There is no way in hell I am staying here by myself." She sneered, grabbing at Mbali's neck and pulling at him back to the den. "Don't make me knock you out," she growled again.

Mbali was knocked over but he just looked at her and snarled. "No for once you listen. You are self centered and dont think about anyone else, that good for nothing rouge and her daughter are on their way to kill my mother and however much i dislike my family I am NOT going to sit around and let her kill them." He forced himself up still snarling.

The pridelander's eyes widened. For once, she backed off. She didn't growl, she didn't attempt to stop him. She just...sat there. The female sighed, moving back from the snarling male. "Fine."
"Just FINE!" She growled back at him. "Go! Go back to the pridelands. Go back to your mother and other family whom you had LEFT. Think they will still want you now? After you just abandoned them?!" She said. "See if I care if you leave then." The mocha female cried out, heading quickly back into the den. See, no one care. Not even the one who had been with her for the past weeks.

He sighed and laid down. He didn't go anywhere, she was right he had left them and going back to leave again would make things worse.
He looked around and blinked a few times, he would find a bird. Birds always seemed to be truthful, the ones he had been told about anyway, he would get one of them to take a message.
Standing up again he limped inside and looked at Bari, "Your right, sorry..." He then laid down in a corner and licked at his leg, wincing as he did so.

Teal eyes watched the male. She shook her head, not saying a word. Instead, she moved back up from the middle of the den, and right over towards the injured male. "You just were trying to protect you family." She murmured quietly, tossing a paw by his face so he would stop licking at it. "Get some sleep." She said, herself cleaning the wound, instead of the male.

Mbali stopped licking and was shocked at how Bari was reacting. He just smiled, "Thank you.." He whispered and laid his head down on his fore paws.
He let out a soft sigh before closing his eyes. They made a strange pair, both wounded and both looking after each other. He had a friend in Bari, he just had to keep the patience to put up with her sometimes!
