"P-pack? Umm...I-I have an apartment...I lock myself in there..." He shifted awkwardly at her tone, and the lifted eyebrow. "I-I...th-think that if there are others...they're kind of...scattered...right now..."

Rogue smiled. "That is the best news I've heard years. You do know that packs have been a problem throughout the years."
She shifted on her feet and moved a hand through her long wavy midnight hair.
"Have you ever killed anyone, Lance?"

Lance swallowed hard, eyes drawn to follow the pale, beautiful hand that was dragged through the silky black tresses. "I...uhm..." His voice was very quiet. "...n-no ma'am....n-not on purpose..."

"Not on purpose." She smirked. "So you're a murderer by accident. How convenient." With her arms crossed she continued, "Was this before or after your recent lycanthropy?"
She wondered why the packs were so...misplaced as of lately. She knew that the vampires were normally organized, but much of the trouble had been in Europe as of late, and Mauser von Recht, was nowhere to be seen in New York City. In the equivalent of a stomach growl, she pushed back bloodlust edging into her veins. His fear aroused the monster within her as he continued to be on edge. The inner feline wanted him to run that she might chase him down and drain him dry.
She pushed the thoughts as far from her mind as possible and lit another cigarette.

"A-after..." Mumbled Lance and shifted back slowly, chewing his lower lip. He'd heard the quiet, hungry sound from Rogue, and his body at least knew what it meant, and responded by sending a fresh wave of adrenaline through him, pushing his heart to beat faster, preparing the young pup to flee. "I-I d-didn't want too..." He shuffled his feet anxiously, following the vampire's hand as she brought the cigarette to her lips. "Um...um..." The clash between the burgeoning attraction and icy terror he felt for the attractive vampire became too much for Lance at this point. He bolted, scrambling off into the darkness of the cemetery. He was quick, but probably not nearly collected enough to avoid capture if Rogue pursued.

Rogue took a long drag and exhaled. In a moment, she saw his features tighten, and he began to flee. A low growl came out of Rogue as she leapt atop a grave.
Everything left her mind, and instinct took over.
She was silent and still, listening intently as he scurried off. She jumped again, and again atop graves, following the prey.
Within a few moments she could see him again and she followed in step, his fear leaving a trail behind him.

Lance whined quietly as he fled, thinking, for a moment that he'd managed to get away, or that Rogue wasn't following him. Then her scent, even more terrifying filled his brain again. He continued to sprint away, still fully human. There was no chance of him actually out-distancing Rogue though,
((You're free to play out Rogue catching him. :3 ))

Rogue leapt after him silently, his fear pulsing through her. Instinct made a metallic taste in her mouth in anticipation for his blood again on her tongue. Her mind had her so focused on Lance, that another lycan in half shift took her out in midair, the new lycan and Rogue crashing into a gravestone.
She roared something fierce and threw off the dog, and her eyes darted for only a moment at Lance.
As if snapped out of a trance, she realized more fully that she had been chasing him...her instinct had overrode her control yet again. Anger flared, but mostly at herself. She would never have been this careless tracking a small lycan like Lance who wasn't causing any trouble.
She landed a hard fist at the half transformed lycan in front of her.
