We have proved the Macbeth superstition at my theatre.... some idiot techie said that on stage and within an hour one of the room off the stage was infested with cockroaches. Ewwww xx

Yes, we have established this one as well. My friend uttered the cursed name of the Scottish Play three times backstage under her breath (we didn't find out until she told us after the show was through). Needless to say, three major tragedies befell our production: a drop roller fell during a build session, coming close to majorly injuring some techies (including moi), our best dancer tore her hamstring on opening night in the big dance number, and the rope of a cottage roof set mysteriously snapped.
