Comet got up and stretched. "Man, I gotta get around more." said the white furred boy. "I can't just spend all day talking to strangers eating grilled cheese sandwiches. It's not natural." He yawned. "No offense to you, of course." Looking as if he was about to go, he set off and then looked like sudden realization had struck him before he sat back down again. "Well, maybe I'll stay for a bit longer." He had been locked out of his own house for a while now, the key Kotatsu had given him sitting on the kitchen table. But he wasn't going to admit that to Toushi. Kotatsu was coming home soon anyway. "So..." he said, rummaging around his brain for a topic of conversation that they hadn't gone through already.

"It's not natural or it's not usual?" Toushi questioned idly, nibbling on his sandwich as he gazed down at his sketchbook. He arched a curious eyebrow as the cat made to leave before seeming to change his mind and settle back down. "There's nothing wrong, is there?"

"Usual, right, that one." Comet said amiably. He flicked his tail again and tried to sound nonchalant. "Oh, nothing wrong." he lied. "Nothing at all." Should Kotatsu be home by now? Yeah, maybe... Why did people have to go and do stuff when he was locked out? It wasn't thoughtful at all. "On second thought, I really should go." She'd probably be home. "Yeah. Seeya later." Waving goodbye, he left, walking slowly in case Kotatsu wasn't there yet. Gotta maintain his dignity after all.

Toushi nodded his farewell, hands occupied holding a pencil and his sketchbook. He didn't believe that nothing had been wrong, but the other cat was likely too prideful to admit that something was. Shrugging, he looked up to watch the cat exit the room before returning to his drawing.
