Along the wall, where the voice had come from was a line of rooms that had actually been carved into the stone. Some of them had doors and windows, here tiny faces peeked out in curiosity. And on top of those rooms perched a large, brown kyn, who gave you a large, toothy grin.
"Oh, Dav," said a much smaller voice, "dim down the drama a little, will you?" From behind this 'Dav' steps a petite girl with long white hair and blue eyes that smiled at you.
"Hi!" she said, talking to you now. "I'm sorry about Dav--he loves making a first impression. Welcome to our home."
