My mom has a history of going back on her word as well as being a self serving c**t.
Yesterday, she called me asking if I wanted to go to Las Vegas. And before that I told her I'm never going to Las Vegas if she expects me and my sister to babysit all of the little kids who come to. I tod her I don't enjoy the vacation as much, if at all, if I can't do anything because I need make sure they don't get kidnapped or hurt while she either shops, gambles or does some "business". And she told me it was just a girl outing and there'd be shopping and I'd be able to go off on my own with my sister and we can do our own thing.
Next thing I know, that evening she's telling me that maybe I shouldn't go because I wouldn't enjoy shopping and complain about being tired. So I said "who says I won't enjoy it?! you always do this, you always go back on your word." I get all pissy and tell her I don't want to hear her.
Later, my parents are booking the flight and I walked in. It just so happens that there are like 12 people going. After booking six of the flights, my parents can't book any more due to limited seating (OMG RRY?). My parents are trying find ways around this and I find out my mom booked herself as well as 5 of her friends and not my sister or me. So of course, I'm like "what the ********" to myself and they could tell in my tone. And my dad says "We'll try." and so I went to my room all grumpy.
And just about 30 minutes ago I asked my mom about it and she was like "we can get you a flight but it'd cost like $55 more." (She's a cheap b***h when it comes to her children). "We can check next week if the prices go down" And so I say "I absolutely love how you booked you and your friends and not me and Krystina" and she responded "Well we could only book two at a time and we left you, Krystina, and Kaylee out just in case it didn't work. Kaylee can stay home (implying that it's okay if my sister and I stay home too)."
She obviously doesn't want me going, she doesn't want me spending her precious money.

Your mom is obviously selfish.
I say, let her go. Then throw a kick-a** party. Or make it look like you threw a party.
Or, when she comes home, be at a friend's house with your sisters to make it look like you were kidnapped.
Getting them worried always makes them pay attention.
I'm the youngest of 5. I HAVE to know these things in order to survive.

Yeah, earlier today I made a comment about the whole her friends before her kids and she said "Of course, atleast they're paying!"
One time, my friend and her sister got back at their parents by pretending to be dead. Ketchup all over the place.

I don't really mean to insult you or your family, but your parents don't really act like parents. This is the kind of think I only thought would happen on T.V.

This is completely offtopic, but your sister's name is spelt the way my dad wanted to spell my first name, but then my mom made him go all traditional.
AKA BORING mad

@Panic: How I see it, they're good people. They've helped a lot of people when they were in a sticky situation, even if they weren't that close. But they don't understand how to be a parent. Maybe once they see me as an adult and as a equal, things'll be alright.
@Masked: Heh, I'd like it better if my sister went traditional or with a complete different name. Are names are spelled similar down to the last couple of letters (Krystal and Krystina - I swear, they're the worst at naming things). It kinda gets on my nerves though what with people mixing up are names and the whole school internet IDs

I know I'd be pissed off if they invited me, and then changed thier minds, inviting THEIR friends instead.
