"Just not in front of Haki." he reasoned. "She can come over and night and..." at her comment about being a nun however, he raised a brow. "Not getting lucky, is it Remi?" he grinned. A slow, sure grin as he drawled. "Well, if you really need some, my door's always open."

He laughed, making sure with a quick glance that there was nothing she could throw at him.

Haki in the meanwhile, nodded. "Gross, yes?" she said. She didn't understand why her dad kept putting these things in her food! It's like he was trying to poison her, or something.

"Ve..." she stopped. "Vetebles?" it sounded something like that. Exept she was sure there had been a G noise in there somewhere too. She shrugged. If Haki didn't know, it wasn't important.

"No matter." she stated, and picked at her eggs again.

Hadrian chuckled quietly at Remi's words.

"Of course. I just felt like teasing Marc."

At least he was upfront about it. Though the mischievous glint in his eyes as he spoke after Marc's last words would have showed his intentions anyway. His own words were spoken with a mock-serious tone, even while his eyes danced with amusement.

"That door better be open to be giving the number of someone who can help her there, and not for some other reason, Marc."

Cue extensive blushing. Remi could only blink as her face turned a color reminiscent of a tomato.

"T-that's not exactly what I meant," she stuttered, staring intently at her dirty sneakers rather than making direct eye contact. Hopefully this was all just teasing. It was becoming obvious that Marc and Hadrian were together, so surely he didn't mean that. She mentally shoved all those thoughts away. She always took things people said too seriously, maybe it was time to actually realize that it wasn't meant to be taken literally.

"As a matter of fact, I may have found someone," she said slightly more confidently, though her face was still red. Alright, so she hadn't known Stephan for very long, but maybe it was her turn to catch someone off guard.

"Vegtibles," Gavin blinked, staring at the orange mush before him. "Yucky."

Poking his eggs, he got a random bout of curiosity. "What Haki's favrit food?"

Marc laughed at Hadrian's words, shaking his head. "Of course. I would never." he started, drawling and then stopped, considering Hadrian. "Unless you wanted to, of course." he added. "Then I'm up for whatever it is you're thinking of."

At her next words though, his smile seemed delighted in a different way. "You have? A man, a woman? Do they live here?" his eyes brightened. "Now you'll have a reason to wear all those costumes-- they'll definitely appreciate _that_." he was grinning as he said this, deciding that he had done a gigantic favor for her intended to be by supplying said pervy costumes,

Marc liked to think of himself as the santa clause of perversion.

Haki paused. "Favrit?" she said, tilting her head as she considered. "Suga."she said promptly. Even if it wasn't a real food group, it was good enough. "Gavin's?" she asked. What would his be?

"I...think I'll pass on that," Hadrian had teased, but should have expected to get teased back. And he had a feeling that Marc's teasing of him had more of a prize then his own did - after all, the other man didn't blush. He did.

Though the laugh was nice.

"You do?"

He had to admit, he was curious. Even if he was feeling some silly, as the three of them were gossiping. Which they technically were, he supposed.

At all the questions, Remi thought maybe it would have been better not to mention that at all. Now she was going to undergo the next Inquisition as according to Marc. Well, this should be interesting.

"A man," she blinked, wondering why he would think she swung that way. The fact that even Hadrian was taking interest made her feel even more embarrassed. "Your neighbor two floors up. Stephan, do you know him? And no, I don't think he'd appreciate the costumes."

"Hamit food," Gavin smiled back at Haki. Of course, he liked sugar too, but something about that dog food just made him want to sneak back for another can. Maybe he would sometime...

Haki wrinkled her nose. Oh of course! She remembered the food. "Hammit food." she repeated, a little bit amused, and resigned too. She supposed she shouldn't fight too much about it.

It wasn't as if it had affected him yet.

Marc's look was amused. "I have neighbors?" he asked, arching a brow. Well, he had expected that. "How many can I have, Hadrian?" he asked. Did that mean public sex on the stairs was out of the question?

Oh, that was very bad.

"You know, I think I left Stephen a note welcoming him to the building... or my secretary did, on her last visit." he mused out loud. "Maybe I should pay him a visit." his smile was wicked as he watched Remi. 'Make sure he's the type of man who can treat our Remi well."

He would have laughed, because it was so hard to keep a straight face.

"Well, there are five apartments in each building..."

And if he remembered correctly, all the ones in this building were taken, by now. Not that he really knew any of them very well. Hadrian was pretty busy, and the only time he'd meet them would be when they came in to view their Souls.

And public sex was out of the question, though Marc was lucky he hadn't asked about it in front of Remi. Or maybe not so lucky, because it would have turned Hadrian bright red.

"Stephen..I think I may have met him, when he came to view his Soul."

The one who was positive his Soul was a little girl, if he remembered correctly.

Oh god. Marc paying a visit to Stephan. Panic. Complete and utter panic going on in Remi's mind.

"Oh don't do that," Remi pleaded desperately. The last thing she needed was for Marc to freak Stephan out. They'd only had one date so far. Stephan didn't seem like the kind of guy who would appreciate that type of treatment. Sure he used to live in a frat house, but he'd gotten away from all of that, right?

((Gah, sorry for the short post D: ))

Marc was really, really getting into the idea. "I can ask him if he's treating you well, what kind of plans he has for you." his eyes lit up. The dirtier the better, really. And it was with this train of thought that he nodded. "If I wear a suit, slick my hair back..." he started, watching Hadrian with thoughtful eyes. "Do you think he'll respect me enough?"

Haki turned a distracted air at the adults talking. This wasn't interesting at all. So she asked Gavin a question instead.

"Gavin, why Gavin need all that stuff?" she asked, straight out.

"He might be frightened."

A dry tone, though Hadrian seemed very amused by this. The thought of Marc getting dressed up like that, all fancy and respectable...it entertained him.

And interested him. Marc wasn't the only one who's mind was on certain things, even with a hangover.

Not that Marc didn't look nice normally - he wore suits quite a bit. But normally it was more of a rogueish look, then a respectable one. And he liked that, but it would be interesting to see his lover looking like that.

Gavin paused to consider Haki's question. He didn't really have an answer. He mentally called them his 'unexplainables' for a reason: he couldn't explain why he needed them. Of course, if he could speak in coherent sentences he would tell her that, but for right now all he had were fragments.

"Don't know," he shrugged, taking his last bit of egg. "Feelings."

Because that totally explained a lot.

Remi smacked the heel of her palm on her forehead. Great, now she'd have to go warn Steps that his neighbor was going to eventually show up on his doorstep and conduct an interrogation. He was sure going to like that.

"Just please don't do anything stupid," she sighed, finishing off her cup of coffee. She checked her watch. "Well, as much as I love to hear you guys tease me, I'm sure you two have something else you'd much rather be doing without me here."

See? She could do the innuendo thing too.

"Frightened?" Marc arched a brow, and tried to put on a wounded look. His mind seemed to work on parallels with the mage, because the smile deepened. "You know, this whole interrogation thing..." he arched a brow. "It could be fun... playing."

Damn the children for making him speak in innuendos. While it was fun, it didn't really help with his patience. And at Remi's eyes, he arched a brow.

"You can watch, if you want." he said, smirking. "It's always fun playing with three people. Don't you think so, Haki?"

Haki looked up, startled, and shrugged. Whatever. Who cared what the adults were talking about?

"Feleings." Haki said, nodding her head and trying to look serious. Ah. The all important answer! It was so profound, so wise...

She snorted.

"Gavin." she said, frowning.
