I had my little boy, on the 1st of july. ^-^ I named him Tyler. He Weighed 9lb 5oz... I had a natural birth along with pethadine and gas and air. My labour was 5 hours long which I thought was brilliant for my first baby!

When my labour started I went into the hospital got into admissions where they could examine me to check everything over the midwife after n hour of being in the hospital wanted to get me into a room so that they could put of a probe on the babies head because they kept picking up my heart rate and not his. So they moved me a couple of hours must of passed and I really felt like I needed to go to the toilet so I moved to the toilet and then got stuck there for about 30minutes. Each contraction I was pushing thinking I needed to go to the toilet because he was pushing against my bowels, but every time I wanted to get up to go back to the room I would get a contraction and I didn’t feel I could walk/stand while having one. Once I returned to the room they were preparing to put the probe on but when they looked they realised he was already on his way out!

Not long after my gorgeous boy arrived.. But after being full of gas and air and then told I needed to go to theatre because I tore rather bad, I got really upset.

I understand the midwife was a student and that my baby was rather large.. But they whole time I was there they only gave me one internal examination before they delivered him.

Anyway! It was all worth it because my little boy is the most amazing thing in my life and as for only being just over 2 weeks old.. He is certainly very strong and contented though I’m sure that wont last long!

Oh! and its my birthday in just under 2 weeks! =D
