It is official! Elliot Sadler has announced that he will drive the #19 Ray Evernham dodge in 2007. But he mostly like not bring M&M's with him as a sponsor. Jeremy Mayfield will pilot the #00 Toyota for Michael Waltrip Racing next year. For more, check here: NASCAR.com: Last Lap- Elliot Sadler

Man this sucks for Ford fans like me. First we have a dissapointment like Jamie McMurray, then Dale Jarrett leaves Yates and takes UPS with him, now Elliot Sadler jumps ship for Evernham. To top it off, Mark Martin is retireing! Ford is in trouble and it sucks.

I think this will be a good thing for Elliott. However, he needs to succeed here. Everyone had high hopes for him over at Yates, but Yates seems to be in a downward spiral, which could be the reason Elliott hasn't done well. Evernham is on the way up, so if it was the equipment, he'll do better. If he doesn't, it will raise some serios questions about Elliott Sadler.
Jermey Mayfield is in that boat now. First Penske, now Evernham. Limited success. Him making the Chase the last two years is a big plus, but he didn't do much when he was in there. Maybe he will do better at Michal Waltrip?

Elliott Sadler was in the 19 car last weekend. Where'd Mayfield go by the way? PS: To who ever said Bill Elliott could be coming back, he's been running a limited season the last few years. Possibley before retiring from nascar, just like Terry Labonte.
