you don't get to know the setting for this yet. just vote in the poll for a time period and i'll be able to narrow stuff down conserning personal gear and skills. in the mean time, just have an idea of your charas personality and backround.
i need 3 to 5 charas to start and we can add more later. you all start on a boat, a standard passenger/cargo boat, your origin and destination are unimportant except for personal reasons. it's a mixed crew of various seafarers heading vaguely west from australia. no, you do not need stats for the boat.
because i don't know time period yet and the book doesn't have the genre i'll be working with i'll make up my own list of stats costs and possible attributes that may change once we have a better idea of what we're doing.

all characters are required to take the Marked defect level 1, though it will not take effect while you are on the boat. you'll get more details once i release the setting to you.
