When i mess up on a chord, 1) I will go to the last one I played and violently stike the strings with my pick a few times 2) or just slam down on them with my fist.

Whenever I start figuring out a solo or song, I get a really peculiar look on my face. I also seem to have the John Mayer solo face. You know the one.

I make faces with my face if i'm concentrating xD
And I rest my pinky below the strings under the pickups. I dunno why, but it helps me pick faster and go to different strings.

I like to learn the tabs for a song, then go and watch every youtube video of them playing it, and put them all together. . . kind of makes it my own version.

Ok so not quite a guitar habit but I have the odd tendency to use old amps and 60's guitar parts. That's cause stuff from back then rocks!

I haven't seen this one yet... But when I play, I constantly mess with my volume and tone knobs as I play. Every note where there's the slightest amount of sustain, I make sure they're where they should be.
I think I have OCD about it, because when I play specific songs, I do it at the same place in the song every time lol

 when i tap, i tend to shake my head ( like i'm saying " no")
I have a short clip of me playing a little of van halen's "eruption" on youtube and it you watch my head, you'll see me doing it. i didn't even notice it until i submitted it.
It's okay.
Just hold my hand...
and i swear everything will be all right...

When I'm concentrating I tend to look like I'm dead or really pissed. My pinku on my picking hand sticks waaaay out there and locks up. I hold the pick too close to the pont sometimes and I have long nails so it scratches against the strings and makes a dead sound. And heres the funny part, I save up old crappy strings and when I'm bored...I'll reattach them to my guitar and scrape my nail across the top. The Thick E string sounds like a whale and the A string sounds like a jet or plane. XD It annoys the hell out of my mom.

I just found out I have this really bad habit when sitting and playing guitar. I cross my legs because I'm used to my old neck strap that was too big for me. XD I do the same thing when playing my sax, but thats just because I have short legs with long arms and it's comfortable to cross my legs. Lol I'm a crappy guitarist/saxophonist.
