Edit: It's so pitiful that I have to say this, but this problem is ******** killing me. I'm always thinking about it when I know I should be out with my friends. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something about Gaia that makes me feel accepted, and liked...but I am IRL too. I dunno. It's really bothering me because the 'stay on Gaia' side is winning. D: I was listening to this song yesterday, Daisy by Switchfoot-download it.

It was making me depressed and I was on the edge of unplugging my computer. The lyrics reminded me of how attached I am to the internets, Gaia, and everyone in PENIZLOL.
It's a goddamn website...posting doesn't improve myself, and gold has no real monetary value--what's the point?
I was being really emo last night and thinking about quitting Gaia, since everyone else is doing it [conformistlol].
All Gaia has done for me is take away my social life and leave me with a temporary high. It's becoming the only thing that I enjoy, the only thing I think about, and it's wasting my life.
I don't know. I have two choices-stay attached to the computer to cover up my stress and problems, or face it head-on and go into an obvious depression.
I need help.

dude, i honestly felt like quitting too, earlier today.
but i think i'm just going to cutback. more so after this week because of my entry in the arena
(im in 9th btw) exclaim
anyways, i don't think you should completely quit. just cutback, try to get back your social life. or if you don't feel up to that, you can consult us for your problems, because we'll be glad to help if you don't want to talk to your friends or so IRL.

I almost quit last night too. I was talking to TTC and I was like, I'm done. I'm so tired of the pettiness.
On the other hand, I feel strangly indebted b/c w/o it I wouldn't know him.

I took a gaia hiatus for about three months about a year and a half ago. It felt really good just to take some time off of gaia and help me realize that its not as serious as i thought it was.

Gaia is the only way I can keep in touch with my girlfriend without my nosy grandparents (who are assholes, by the way) eavesdropping on me, unless I call her while they`re out of the house.

I took a gaia hiatus for about three months about a year and a half ago. It felt really good just to take some time off of gaia and help me realize that its not as serious as i thought it was.
