I'm seeing February items going for the same prices, if not less, than Pendants and Horns of the Demons on the Marketplace. This was unheard of in prices a few months ago, for 7 month old donation items to be only worth 10k-ish. What are your theories on this?

I think, it is because based on the item itself and not the price, the Horns of the Demon and the Pendent are one of the best if not the best items on Gaia. In my own opinion, I like the Horns of the Demon more then the Devil Tail and I also think the Pendent is the best Angelic set item. I think they are going to be the most fast growing items ever.. I just wish I would of got a couple more letters because I just got two and I opened them and have the items on right now.

I think one day people will see the value more in the Feb items, but yeah, they have not gone up very much. I am not surprised, there is a glut of letters from mass donations. If the item is not that great then it will never go up, like the pj's. I didn't even open that letter, no thanks. But the June letter is pretty special, I can see why it went up real fast.

i think its just how much people want the items.the more they want them the more they are worth.i think this becouse all the 2003 items are awsome and i want them my self.click my sig. and she what me and a few friends have.

well you after have to understnad, that last year there were less people than there are now. now there are so many people, and so many have caught on that so many donate which creates lots of letters. so every person has one then there is no way for it to go up till there are more people... we just need to grow more sweatdrop

I think prices overall will peak much lower for the 04 donation items. Too many people buy scores of letters, thus ruining the economy. Even though there is more gold around, causing inflation, I still believe that the 04 items will not be as great an investment as the past items have been.
On the other hand, I still don't get why PJs and the Hammi/Bammi hats dropped as low as they did. I think they are highly underrated (loves all of hers)

There are to many of them.
Back in October of 2003 there were letter caps. One person could only purchase a limited number of letters. It helped keep the rarity.
People in Janurary started donating VERY heavily. It was insain. Ever since then people have still donated VERY heavily. And if the item isn't great, the value dies.

I think it's just supply and demand, since Inflation is the thing.
That's why the devil tail is so expensive.... sweatdrop *nov/dec item quest....one of both letter items either or* ninja

BryceDraven >_> <_< PJs and Hammi/Bammi Hats are.. cute but not most people's favorite thing. Only like 20-40% of the Pops like cute items. Most people like Nitemare and Angelic items. I, myself like Nitemare and Asian style items. xd Too bad the only Asian style items are Japanese style though... I want other Asian fashion! Like Chinese tops or Korean traditional pants...

They might put more asian style stuff in the commons store, I think that would be a cool idea. You might want to suggest it in their suggestions thread.
