Both girls arrived home with big smiles on their faces. Well really only Miko arrived home. Gael merely dropped the little girl off after loading her up with mountains of plastic bags.
Trying to balance the pile and co-ordinate six legs took more concentration than the little girl had and she went sprawling on the front lawn as Eamane watched form the doorway attempting the muffle her laughter.
"Let me help," she hurried forward and gathered up most of the bags as her daughter dusted herself off. The elf picked inside a bag, "Big day I see," she said raising an eyebrow.
Miko giggled, "uh huh." She started towards the house, "I bought presents for all the kids you told me about, the ones like me!" She held the door open for her mother and then began unloading a bunch of butterfly plushes.

Eamane looked at the toys with a wry smile, "and I assume I get the dubious pleasure of driving you around tomorrow to deliver them?"
Miko turned her puppy dog face on and looked at her mother, "Please...."
