Hell yea. It's kinda what adds the b-boy flava to samurai champloo. When you think about it, would it all make sense if it wasn't hip-hop? The episode about graff, another which the were rhyming into the hilt of their swords as if it were a mic, Mugen's champuru kendo style that's based on breaking, all that's missing is scratching. It makes perfect sense.

It fits the anime very very well. I don't really care for hip-hop, but I love the opening theme song. The music in general fits the episodes and the settings. It reminds me of Mugen too.

I don't agree with hip hop or rap themed music all that often.. ut I think the opening them fits the show very well. I also like how it contrasts with the ending theme. 3nodding

I totally agree that hip-hop is a nice touch for SC. Nujabes, Cyne, and all the other awesome artist did a great job. SC introduced me to Nujabes, and a lot of his work is pretty cool. Lady Brown, Feather, and Still Talking to You are a few of my favorites outside of SC. But, Aruarian Dance and Battle Cry call out to me.
