After a long rest Jinni was feeling much better. She felt terrible for missing out on so many classes and lessons etc., and had no idea why she had suddenly become sick.
She still hadn't had a reply from any of the recording companies whom she'd sent her demo CD to... It must have been two weeks by now? Maybe they were just busy... Anyway, she didn't expect them to reply. How could she possibly compte with the likes of Lena Park, or Lee Soo Young? Jinni laughed at her own dreams.
Jinni sat in her room, contemplating what to make for dinner.

well here goes nothing. I hope I don't wake her up. And I really hope she likes this tea i made. *she knocks on the door. Jinni answers* Uh Hi I came by to see if you were okay. I brought you some tea. I hope you feel better.

"Hye Min? Please, come in."
Jinni accepted the tea and bowed slightly to indicate her gratitude.
"I'm sorry I had to cancel the lessons. I'm much better now, thank you. It was so thoughtful and lovely of you to bring me some tea."
Jinni had already set out some side dishes and the stew was just about ready. She went and turned over the pieces of meat she was grilling.
"Would you like to have dinner with me?" she called over her shoulder.

"So how has everything been with you?" Jinni asked. "Have your other classes started yet?"

I am doing okay. I have today off, but tomorrow i have a full day of classes. I have to start with my Korean class. Since I live here i need to learn the language.

"Well good luck with that. It shouldn't be too difficult, seeing as you'll have plenty of opportunities to practise the language. I'm sure you'll pick it up quickly. Maybe we should start with an English song then. Um, about Hero by Mariah Carey? Oh, when is our next lesson?"

"Oh, that's great! Then I have time to prepare for the lesson." Jinni gave Hye Min a sheepish look. I haven't been doing much while I was sick, just listening to music and reading a bit. And lots of sleeping." Jinni finished eating and put down her spoon.
"Now I'm too full," she laughed. "I knew I shouldn't have made too much food! Thanks for having dinner with me, Hye Min."

Jinni washed and dried the dishes, putting them away neatly in the various cupboards. Then she started preparing for for the class, before falling asleep on the couch.

*slowly Hye Min walked back to her dorm room. she set down her bags, walked to her bed and let herself fall down onto the bed quickly to fall asleep.
