Shane shook his head at Pyren.
"No Pyren, that's enough of you being passed around," Shane said.
Pyren frowned and whined, and then looked over to Azumi involuntarily as Shane turned around to face her with Pyren in his arms.
"Wow, isn't she a bright one?" he commented, "Where is she from? I take it she's not a Mishap."

Osso let out an unnoticeable sigh of relief when Pyren wasn't granted his wish; he wasn't big on holding kids, Kanti not even being an exception.
Azumi let her stern gaze on Kanti slip off. Looking back up at Shane, she smirked. "Yeah...She picks up on things quickly, but whether or not that's a good thing is for you to judge," she poked her child's nose, causing a tongue to stick back out at her.
"Correct; she's most definitely not a Mishap. Sadly I honestly can't say what she is, but she came from a chunk of cheetah fur that was tied with beaded string. Found it on a trip to South Africa."
