Koudelka [PS] was a very unique title for the horror genre. It's one of those game SNK produced that just stood out.
ANd SHadow Hearts: From the New World [PS2]. There's just something about talking, giant, alcoholic cats that use drunken fist and flamethrowing mariachi's that make it irrisistable.
