I have received a few PMs because of the journals, so I'd like to lay down some rules and give you guys a better system of contacting me for questions or concerns reguarding your Drake's journals.
Rules
1. Do NOT, under any circumstances, PM me about journals. I own my own shop, co-own this one, and have many other shops I frequent and enter contests in. Having my box flooded with "Update my journal" or the like means that its harder for me to find out what contests I've won, if I forgot someone on an owner's list, or other important things.
2. Please, give me some time! I am making the limit three days for now. If you have purchased a new Drake, or your Drake grew, please give me three days to update your journal before contacting me through the contact thread I will be creating shortly. I am but one person, and we have well over thirty Drakes.
Recently, only a half hour after we had 14 adult growths, I received a PM, asking to update the journal. Please realize that updating journals takes time and effort! I can't miraculously have all of them done in half an hour! Patience is greatly appreciated.
3. Any questions or concerns need to be placed in the before mentioned and yet to be created thread. Questions and concerns should be the ONLY thing in this thread. I don't want to have to read through anything that isn't a question or a concern; it makes finding people that need changes much more difficult.
4. Don't PM me about growth schedules, or where your familiar is. Yes, I have receieved PMs about this as well. I am not the artist/colorist for the shop! I have no control (except for the period of time Profet will be on hiatus) over when growings occur, nor do I know where your familiar is. The only thing I can do is what you can do; PM Profet and ask her. Please please please don't PM me about this!!!!!
As far as the better system of contacting me, you'll have two options.
If you want text changes to your journal, or to add favorites or other random things to the first post of your journal, familiarize yourself with the "Journal Customizations" thread, and fill out the form there.
If you need pictures updated or new journals created and it has been THREE DAYS since the change, you can post in the additional thread, asking me to fix it. I will check these regularly, so there will be no need to PM Profet or myself for these changes to be made.
Sorry if I sound like I'm being rather mean guys, but some of these PMs have been a bit off the deep end . . . sweatdrop
